It's funny you ask because I was visiting my stepfather in Loris Christmas 1998 and something came up about Pig and he started talking about that family. He said Pig's Daddy, Prosper Milligan said he would have someone in his family that would be treated with respect--at least to the extent of being called "Mr."--so he named his son, Mister and then everyone called him Pig. Prosper owned a sawmill and had one son who fell onto the conveyor that carried the wood up to the saw. Before anyone could stop the conveyor, his head was decapitated. Awful story--I will see if my stepfather remembers which child it was.
