Not to mention that the Chattahoocie Historical Society is fairly active for the path from SC through Georgia into Alabama along the Chattahoocie River. They have a site that is fairly easily found from Georgia and some new publications. You can't buy off the web, though. You have to mail a check at this time--but they are very kind and responsive.
