The family lines that I am researching are: 1. JESSE CANNON b. abt 1801 d. January 20, 1880 m. Tabitha -I have followed my line down thru: John CANNON m. Mary MARTIN Toquet Turntime CANNON m. Tabitha A. TYLER Moses Purdue TYLER m. Mary Etta CANNON -The brick wall here is who is Jesse's parents? 2. OLIVER W. JOHNSON b. Nov. 5, 1859 d. Sep 21, 1931 m. Avey Jane TYLER - I have traced this family down to present day - My brickwall here is who was the father of Oliver and his brother Hugh Bryant JOHNSON. I have them listed with in the 1880 Galivants Ferry Census, with their mother SARAH A. JOHNSON. In this family listing I only know that Sarah is the mother of Oliver, as listed in an obituary for Sarah who married a ROBERTS at some point after 1880. I know who Hugh is and his descendants. I do not know who the others are in this family. All I have is rumors that Sarah was a mistress of someone. Any help here would be more than greatly appreciated. 3. TYLER's- I have more Tyler's than I know what to do with. I have been given information that JOHN JACKSON TYLER b. Sep 24, 1810 d. abt 1847 m. Elizabeth SOLES, is the son of NEEDHAM TYLER. I have also found 11 gencom's that show that John J. TYLER is the son of Moses TYLER who was the brother of Needham. I would welcome any help with this.
