He married SAMANTHA MELVINA SARVIS, daughter of JOHN SARVIS and HANA FLOYD. Children of JAMES BOOTH and SAMANTHA SARVIS are: 2. i. JOHN3 BOOTH, b. April 13, 1813; d. December 11, 1867. ii. THOMAS WESLEY BOOTH, b. January 25, 1818, Horry County, South Carolina; d. August 30, 1879; m. WINNIFRED LEE. Generation No. 2 2. JOHN3 BOOTH (JAMES2, THOMAS1) was born April 13, 1813, and died December 11, 1867. He married OLIVA MACBEE HOLMES, daughter of JAMES HOLMES and SARAH SINGLETON. Notes for OLIVA MACBEE HOLMES: Olive Macbee and her husband, Samuel Bacbee....a deed ag.16 Oct. 1815 for love and affection...239a land on Maple Swamp to Olive Macbee Holmes. The daughter of James and Sally Holmes....This land was part of an original grant to George Smith who sold same to William Singleton and thru him came to /wit. Josiah Ray, James Holmes and Elizabeth Johnson. Notation index has "Olive M. Macbee formerly Singleton". Child of JOHN BOOTH and OLIVA HOLMES is: 3. i. KENNETH PARKER4 BOOTH, b. June 29, 1850; d. August 05, 1895. Generation No. 3 3. KENNETH PARKER4 BOOTH (JOHN3, JAMES2, THOMAS1) was born June 29, 1850, and died August 05, 1895. He married MOLSIE ANN HUCKS, daughter of COLLIN HUCKS and LOUISA BAKER. Child of KENNETH BOOTH and MOLSIE HUCKS is: 4. i. MARY ELIZABETH5 BOOTH, b. 1877; d. 1954. Generation No. 4 4. MARY ELIZABETH5 BOOTH (KENNETH PARKER4, JOHN3, JAMES2, THOMAS1) was born 1877, and died 1954. She married MARCUS MAYHEM HARDEE, son of ANDREW HARDEE and MARY HOLMES. Notes for MARCUS MAYHEM HARDEE: Mayhem Marcus "Min" Hardee The News and Courier November 8, 1962 Mayhem Marcus "Min" Hardee, 84, retired farmer of the New Home section died at the home of his son, A.K. Hardee November 7, 1962. Mr. Hardee was born in Horry County Dec. 26, 1877, son of the late Andrew J. and Georgia Holmes Hardee. He made his home in the New Home section all his life and was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church. He married the former Miss Mary Elizbeth Booth, who died in 1954. Surviving are: one son, A.K. Hardee of Loris; three daughters, Mrs. Herbert Stevens, Mrs. Leila King, both of Loris, Mrs. James Thompkins of Conway, and seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Children of MARY BOOTH and MARCUS HARDEE are: i. ARTIE KENNETH6 HARDEE, b. June 03, 1903; d. September 22, 1983; m. VENA BELL STEVENS. ii. BRITTIE MAE HARDEE, b. August 06, 1911; d. June 30, 1988; m.
