Someone on the list was researching PINCKNEY. I told that person that MONROE PINCKEY was a notable person of African-American descent in our area. His daughter has written a book Monroe Pinckney My Father by his daughter, Claudette Pinckney-Harris. Today I went by our school library and checked out the book.
