You still should check the HCHS Confed Pension list material as there is a good chance Mr. Newton's records may have been destroyed during battlefield conditions. There are 59 SC Newton surname vets shown which is far too many for me to report. If you will send me a SSAE and a short reminder message, I'll photocopy the page and send it to you. Julian R.
