Brittons Neck Mr. Willie McNeil Richardson, 73, died Wednesday, April 26, 2000 at his residence. Funeral services were held Friday, April 28 at Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Marion, SC and burial followed in Palmetto Mem. Gardens, next door to funeral home. Born in Brittons Neck, he was a son of the late Johnny McNeil and Ethel Turner Richardson. Mr. Richardson attended Brittons Neck High School, was a retired farmer and member of Johnsonville Church of God. Survivors are his wife, Vergie J. Wiggins Richardson of the home, four daughters, Pearl(Randy) Evans-Drew, Helen Brown, Dianne(Lee) Norman, all of Florence, and Faye Brown of Hartsville. A brother, Thomas Richardson of Florence, and a sister Sidney Boatwright of Marion; 15 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Larry M. Richardson and a grandson of Pearl, Russell S. Evans.
