    2. Dear Lists, It seems I have been unsubscribed since November 15. I had heard that some AOL users had been, but I thought when I checked with Rootsweb I was OK. Now I have been off all 3 Counties. Well, I went and looked and for Marion there are 18, for Horry 38, Dillon 1 obits to repost. Do you think I should repost them? This is the only way to get the obits into the archives for future look up. Let me know off list please. 1. [SCHORRY] Georgiana Allen, b. 27 Jul 1923, Horry Co., SC
    2. Doc
    3. Hello List, I am interested to learn more about Georgiana Allen, b. 27 Jul 1923, Horry Co., SC, d. 5 May 1983, VA, and the car accident in which she died...does someone on this list have access to obits/newspapers articles dating Apr-May 1983 for Conway?? she is believed to have lived a few days after the accident which is not confirmed where in VA the accident was and Georgiana is buried in the Hillcrest Cemetery, near Conway SC. I have Georgiana in the 1930 census, Bayboro, Horry Co., SC, with her parents Gurley Moses Allen, b. Nov 1882, SC, d. Nov 1940 SC, m. Lillie Mae Cartrete, b. 1890, SC, d. July 1933, SC, and at least 7 siblings. Georgiana may have married the following 1) Jesse James Baysden, b. 13 Sep 1919, Onslow, NC, d. 9 Apr 1953, Richland, Onslow Co., NC - however I have not been able to find Jesse James or Georgiana Allen in the North Carolina Marriage Collection, 1741-2004. Georgiana & Jesse had 2 sons born between 1946-50, guess-a-mating their marriage about 1945-48. 2) Alton Kermit Hunter, b. 1 Dec 1926, Onslow Co., NC, d. 14 Mar 1996, Athol, Kootenai Co., ID - unable to find Alton or Georgiana nee Allen Baysden in the North Carolina Marriage Collection, 1741-2004. Georgiana & Alton had 2 daughters born in 1959, Laurinburg, Scotland Co. NC & 1960, Kinston, Lenoir Co., NC, I have their birth info. So guess-a-mating marriage to Alton about 1958, unknown if in Horry Co. or which county in NC. 3) John Anderton, possibly about 1975-78 and as with the others, I am unable to find John Anderton or Georgiana nee Allen Baysden in the North Carolina Marriage Collection, 1741-2004. I have not found obituaries or newspaper article of the accident or any city directories from 1923-1983, that may show Georgiana's whereabouts, or that of Alton Hunter or John Anderton with her. http://drdocyoung.com/others/allen-hunter/ Any assistance/knowledge of Georgiana and her life/family and spouses are greatly appreciated. -- Regards, D.R.
