    2. Aynor…..Edna Simmons Rabon, age 87, wife of the late George Rabon Jr. of Goodluck Road passed away December 5, 2010 at Kingston Nursing Center surrounded by her family. Mrs. Rabon was born in Horry County a daughter of the late Julius and Clara Martin Simmons. She was a member and former pianist for Pleasant Union Baptist Church. Mrs. Rabon was predeceased by one son, Joe Frank Rabon, two daughters, Bonnie Rabon, Elma Floyd and one granddaughter Sherry Rabon. Surviving Mrs. Rabon are three sons Donald Rabon and his wife Mary of Loris, Edmond "Sonny" Rabon and his wife Linda of Aynor, George Rabon and his wife Bonita of Aynor, three daughters, Katie Caulder and her husband Billy, Dianne Blackmon- Hardee and her husband John, and Ellen Rabon all of Aynor, eleven grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Born January 30, 1920 in Conway, SC, daughter of the late James Stevens and the late Martha Boyd Stevens. Mrs. Tyler was a homemaker and a longtime member of New Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include her son: Jimmy S. Tyler and wife, Carolyn of Conway, SC; daughter: Doris Sohn and husband Martin of Mason Neck, VA; one sister: Louise Tyler of Brooksville, SC; six grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.     2. Ashley Cleon "A.C." Weikle, 44, of 303 Pine Street, Clifton Forge, Va., died Friday, December 3, 2010. He was born in Myrtle Beach, S.C. on September 3, 1966 and was the son of Cleon Weikle of Clifton Forge and the late Catherine Vavra Weikle. He was a truck driver with T.C.I. of Covington, Va., and was an owner-operator in the Independent Drivers Association. He was an active member of the Clifton Forge Fire Department and a member of the Virginia State Firefighters Association. "A.C" was an active Deacon of the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ Church in Clifton Forge. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Cox Weikle of Clifton Forge; his father, Cleon Weikle of Clifton Forge; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Marla Henderson and husband, John, of Ellicott City, Md. and Laurette Mincey and husband, Jim, of Union, W.Va.; nieces and nephews, Katie Henderson, Joe, David and Tim Mincey.     2. William Clem "Bill" Collins, Jr., 66, of Roena Drive, died Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. He was born October 19, 1944 in Horry County, a son of the late William Clem Collins, Sr. and Mae Beaty Collins. In additions to his parents, he was also predeceased by his sister, Maxine Ellen Collins McCracken. William was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. He was a very loving and giving person. William was a certified master electrician and served two years in the military. He enjoyed fishing and practicing karate. His greatest joy was history. Mr. Collins is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Mary L. Hardee Collins of the home; one son, William "Billy" Collins, III (Jeana) of Conway; five daughters, Rachael C.     2. Henry Alfred Johnson, 92, of Valley Forge Rd., passed away, December 2, 2010, at his residence, surrounded by his family. Mr. Johnson was born May 4, 1918, the son of the late Andy and Agnes Johnson. He was predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Madgie J. Johnson; one son, Joseph W. Johnson; two brothers, Ben Johnson and George Johnson; and two sisters, Minnie Clark and Alma Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church, a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Johnson was known for his kind, gentle nature and his "railroad" hats. Surviving are three sons, Henry Alfred Johnson and his wife, Joyce, of Aynor, James Edward Johnson and his wife, Josephine, of Mullins, and Junior Andy Johnson and his wife, Vicky, of Aynor;, two daughters, Rachel Mills and her husband, Johnnie, of Aynor, and Martha Ann Wright and her husband, Winford, of Hendersonville, N.C.; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Home. Mrs. Bethea, 57, died Monday, November 29, 2010 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence. Born in Lumberton, NC, February 26, 1953, she was the daughter of Elgiereen Long Bethea and the late Foster Bass Bethea, Sr. She was a member of Latta Presbyterian Church, and was employed as Area Supervisor with the SC Vocation Rehabilitation of Horry Georgetown County. She was a 1971 graduate of Latta High School, received her bachelors degree from Fancis Marion College, and her masters from Websters University. She was Miss Francis Marion College for 1974-75, was the fraternity sweetheart for the Kappa Epsilon Gamma Fraternity, was a cheerleader for Francis Marion College, was a member of the Alpha Delta Sigma Sorority, and was secretary of her junior class. Mrs. Bethea was a pro shagger having taught shag and was a member of the Florence Shag Club. She enjoyed producing and performing in various musicals. She was a member of the Red Hats of Dillon County, past member of the McArthur Avenue Players, and was appointed by the Governor to the Governor's Work Force Investment Board of Horry County. Survivors include her husband, Tom Lawrence of Latta; mother, Elgiereen Long Bethea of Latta; step-daughter, Morgan Elizabeth Lawrence of Conway; brother, Foster Bethea, Jr. (Carolyn) of Myrtle Beach; sister, Tara (Nader) Khalil of Dillon; nieces, Anna & Lea Foster Khalil.     2. Conway…..Cecil Louise Lee Jollie, age 85, wife of the late Robert Boyd Jollie, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 27, 2010. Mrs. Jollie was born in Conway, a daughter of the late Benjamin Marvin and Leila Delessie Lee. After retiring from AVX in 1985, she served as an adult caregiver for many years. She was a member of Maple Baptist Church. Mrs. Jollie was known by her family as "Grandma 2000" and will be remembered for her special love and dedication to her family. She was predeceased by a son, George Winfred Jollie, a great-granddaughter, Macy Caroline Hardee, two brothers, Joseph Berkley and William Pearley Lee and a sister, Myrtle Russ. A special thanks to Dr. John Wilson, III for his many years of medical service, and to Amedisys Home Health and Amedisys Hospice for their service.     2. Eloise Gore Hearl, 78, of Ward Circle died Sunday, November 28, 2010. She was born October 26, 1932 in Conway a daughter of the late Jessie Curt and Ella Belle (Anderson) Gore. In additions to her parents, she was also predeceased by three brothers: Henry Gore, J.C. Gore and Calvin Gore, two sisters: Virginia Fayette Todd and Jessie Mae Hodges. Ms. Hearl was self employed and enjoyed cleaning. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her children and her children loved to be with their mama. The family would like to thank all the staff and nurses for their love and support they gave to their mother while she resided at Kingston Nursing Center.     2. Willie Joe Kirby age 87, formerly of Olanta, died November 28, 2010 at his daughter's home in Aynor after an illenss. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock pm Wednesday December 1, 2010 at Bethel Baptist Church in Olanta with burial in the Church Cemetery directed by Floyd Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the church from 12 - 2 pm prior to the service. Born in Florence County, he was a son of the late Winget Lewis Kirby and Henrietta Eunice Carraway Kirby. He was a WW II Army Veteran, a retired diesel mechanic, a former deacon, Sunday School teacher, and was an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Dennis Kirby, three grandsons, Matthew F. Kirby, Christopher C, Kirby, and Michael F. Kirby, and a great-granddaughter, Savannah M. Miniard, two sisters, Gladdis Kirby Welch,and Christa Belle Kirby DeFee, four brothers, Loney W. Kirby (WW I), Duey Kirby, Alick Kirby, and Winston Kirby. He is survived by three daughters, Wilma Jo (James) Myers and Angelia (Bruce) Roberts both of Aynor, Sarah Lynn JohnsonMosspoint, Ms, two sons, Howard F. (Rosie) Kirby of Patrick and Dennis W. (Patsy) Kirby of Florence, 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.     2. Bruce Earl Henderson, age 58, died Friday, November 26, 2010 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer. Born August 10, 1952 in Little River, SC son of Mr. Homer O. Henderson and Mrs. Dolly Marie Brown Henderson. Mr. Henderson worked as a commercial fisherman and was a member of Grace Christian Fellowship in Little River. Bruce was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Survivors include his wife, Karen Houck Henderson of Little River; son, Jason Thomas "J.T." Henderson of Little River; his two daughters, Jennifer Henderson Porter and husband, Robert E. of Naples, FL and Brandy Marie Henderson of Little River; four grandchildren, Makala and Taylor Gore and Aubrey and Caroline Porter; two brothers: Jackie Henderson of Little River and O.D. Henderson of Albemarle, NC and sister, Hazel Pinson of Wilmington, NC. Mr. Henderson was predeceased by his parents; brother, Bobby Henderson and sister, Carolyn Faye Henderson Causey.
