In reply to Bruce Richardson: You said your gr gr grandad was George W. Richardson from Marion County. I have an Elizabeth Thompson of Marion who married a G.W. Richardson prior to or about 1841, as shown in an Equity Court record in Marion County. Her father was one John Thompson, and her mother was Jane Collins. Elizabeth Thompson Richardson was probable sister of my gr gr grandfather, James T. Thompson. Any chance this is the same G.W. Richardson? Could you supply dates of your G.W. Richardson and wife, and names/dates of their children? If the same, I have much info on Elizabeth's family to share with you. Jo Church Dickerson jochurchd@aol.com << I wanted ask if you would be familiar with my great-great grandad who was from Marion County? His name is George W. Richardson, I don't know what the W. stands for, but I think he will probably be from the Brittons Neck area. One of his sons name is Joseph Leander Richardson. George left Marion Cty. and came to Georgetown Cty. and was buried at Prince Winyah Parish corner of Broad and Highmarket. Georges wife was Elizabeth Jane don't know maiden name. Joseph Leander was buried in Sampit area of Georgetown. If this is familiar, I would like to find out farther. I thank you for your time. Bruce Richardson >>

Pearl, I saw you message to Ernest and decided to send you a note. I am related to the Richardson's and I believe I am related to the Cribbs from Brittons Neck area of Marion County. Which Richardson are you related to? My Great great grandfather was Arny Richardson and my great grandfather was James Washington Richardson. I would like to exchange information. Thanks, LaFaye Richardson Sampson
Hi Pearl Excuse the previous, I accidentally hit a key. I have no info that connects me to any CRIBBS. I am sure there is a connection somewhere in which CRIBB was called CRIBBS and the name stuck. My family line came from a John Cribb b 1685 and his wife Elizabeth who came from "near" London to Georgetown Co, near Andrews in 1717. From there my great grand father Anthony Cribb b 1800 came to Marion Co. near Mullins in early 1800. He received a 237 Acre Land Grant in 1825. I have no info to connect my family to any CRIBB or CRIBBS in the Brittons Neck Area. Sorry I could not be of help. Ernest Fl
Hi Pearl
Ernest, are you kin to Cribbs from Brittons Neck, Marion County, SC? I have people living there. Matter of fact I lived there 17 years when I was in school. My people are the Richardson's. Pearl Drew Florence, SC
Dear Faye, I just picked up the fax that you sent me. Thank you so much for sending this. It is very hard to read. Yes, I would love to have a clear one and anything else you have on this line. William Johnston father of William H Johnston is a great grandfather of mine so, I guess so is Samuel. I am having a hard time finding info. on this line and you are the first to actually send me anything of importance. Please let me send you money for the cost of copies and postage. Let me know if you also want me to send you what I learn of this line as well. Does the person that sent you this info. have an email address that I could write him? My address is Lisa Gogan 2789 2nd Place, Baldwin, NY 11510 Again, thank you so very much. Sincerely, Lisa
My grandmother was the daughter of Claudius Boyd from Loris, SC. It was a large family and the house is right in the town of Loris. Would like any information anyone has on this family. Most of them have all died or moved away now. Did you know this family by chance? Thanks, Linda
Ernest, I've been trying to obtain info concerning a Causey family from your area. John Causey married Margaret Norris ( I've been told she was buried at Spring Branch cemetary). Their children were born around 1870-1890 - Benjamen, Fraizer, Bishop, Rupert, Mayberry, Will, Margaret Elizabeth"Betty", Clemmie, Lee, Delta, and Mary. I have info on Margaret Elizabeth "Betty" and her descendants. She married Charlie Miller and lived in Lake View. Clemmie married George Miller and had no children. She also lived in Lake View. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
