Yes my mother was from Loris and said that one of her teacher was impersonating female teacher when he was caught. I will ask her about this and get back to you. I also know that there was a German POW camp in Florence and the prisoners where sent to work in other counties. Henry Rhames married my cousin Daisy Richardson of Brittons Neck. Her parents were my g-uncle English Richardson and g-aunt Alice Irene Cribb. Their children were, Daisy, Lawrence, and Nita Bell. Lawernce married and settled in Darlington, SC and died there. He was cremated and buried there. He has a son LD Richardson (works at Horne Ford in Florence) and he also lives in Florence. Nita Bell married Norton Goude and had a daughter Alice Juanita that lived two months. Nita Bell lived and died in Florida. But she is buried with her baby at the Hamp Richardson cemetery on a hill behind my fathers home in Brittons Neck. Daisy married Henry Rhames, and died about a year ago. They had several children, I'll get all their names and e-mail you back. I hope this has helped some. I have a life long friend in Johnsonville and will find out what I can on Henrys people. Pearl
