    3. I have a death certificate for my g-grandfather, Levi James Martin b. 1876 on death certificate (I have 08-15-1884) d. 03-16-1920 (at 43 years & 6 monthes on death certificate) His father is listed as J. R. Martin and mothers maiden name Eliza Jane Mincey. It states place of burial as Juniper Bay Cemetery. I have been to Juniper Bay cemetery several times and have not found him. Have I overlooked him or is it possible that a marker wasn't placed on his grave? His wife, Mary Jordan Martin is buried in High Point cemetery. Do any of you know what his fathers initials, JR stand for? Are any of you familiar with Eliza Jane Mincey? Any help or suggestions appreciated, Sonja Phipps

    3. Let me share some neat information (to me anyway!) with you. I have heard for some time that a picture of my great-grandfather (Bythel Hinson) was in the library at Clemson University. I made some feeble attmpts to find out about it but made no progress. I heard about it again recently and renewed my efforts to find out. Going to the web, I went to Clemson's library site and sent an email to the Dean of Libraries telling him of my search. Last week, I got an email from the universities archivist telling me that he had located the picture. (As a bonus, it is actually of my great-grandfather AND great-grandmother.) I got an e-mail from his again this morning that copies of the picture, and a negative are in the mail to me! Simply amazing! Larry Mishoe

    2. Mac, Our Rachel Lewis born January 03,1762 Horry District married Joseph Jenkins. It looks like it may be the same family though. I'll send what I have and you can contact my cousin Clint-Morgan@worldnet.att.net. He is working on some other lines of our family. He was not researching the McQueens there was just the marriage of Melissa Jones to Anthony McQueen. He and his mother have done alot of work on Chappell and Futch families of Ala. I think his mother worked on the Jones family. Clint has alot of contacts. I'm not sure who worked on th Jenkins maybe his mother. I'll send you the work sheets I got from them today. I hope its the right people. We certainly have alot of names in common. Lewis, Jenkins,Jones we have a Rachel Jones too . Hope I've helped and not confused the issue. Linda
