    1. Re: [SCHORRY-L] [Fwd: Gary Singleton]
    2. There is a Mary Dew Singleton buried in the Dew Cemetery on Allen Dew Road south of Conway, SC off Hwy 701. Dates on the marker are DOB 1/21/1889, DOD 9/3/73. I was there about 4 weekends ago searching for Dew relatives. My great-grandfather, Asa Walker Singleton's, sister, Martha Jane married a Hugh Dew. I've found their graves through another descendent I met on-line. I've also found a man in Iowa who has a lot of info on the Dews. His e-mail address is cbdews@gateway.net. He may have this connection. I don't have a Gary Singleton in my line so far.

    2. I don't have any Booths in my Singleton line except that my 1st cousin married a Booth from Conway. He's Haley Booth. He' was adopted by Ada and Larue Booth who live in the Adrian Section of the county. I'll ask him next time I'm home if Richard Booth rings a bell with him.

    3. I am a descendant of Joseph Jackson Todd, b.4Oct 1816, d. 25 Feb 1901, in Conway, Horry County, SC. I have information that says his father was William Todd, Jr., b. 14 Jul 1775 d. 30 Aug 1858, and that his grandfather was William John Todd, Sr., b. circa 1745 in Scotland. This information I have gleaned from other researchers, but I personally have no hard proof of the connection. I am very interested in locating information about this family. Our Todd reunion is Saturday, 10 Jun 2000, at Gum Branch Baptist Church near Hinesville, Ga. Ya'll come. Thanks, Dan Todd
