Longmont Ledger (Longmont, Boulder County) Dec 8, 1899 SCHOFIELD--At his home, Longmont, Monday, Dec 4, 1899 of dropsy of the heart, Louis L. Schofield, aged 65 years. Louis L. Schofield was born in Cornwallis, Kings county, Nova Scotia, in 1834, moved to Kansas in 1884 with his wife and five children where he followed his trade that of a blacksmith; he came to Colorado, to Canfield, in 1890, where he spent three years, and to Ward where he remained two years, still following his trade.
