I am looking for Charles Schofield bapt I found him living with Charlotte Schofield logding with the Kitson family as follows: 1841 Census: Edge Ref. HO107/1270/80 Pg 9 KITSONWilliam ead 31 York KITSONSarah 30 York KITSONGeorge 8 York KITSONJoseph 6 York KITSONMary 4 York KITSONAmelia 1 York SCHOFIELDCharlotte 20 SCHOFIELDCharles 17 I think Charlotte is his sister. Here is a bapt found at St. Michael and All angels, in Thornhill Parents George & Mary There was no record of Charles so I checked the IGI index. I found a Charles bapt in Silkstone so went to the Silkstone Parish records and found a Charles Illigitimate son of Mary Schofield. I'm baffled. On Charles marriage cert he named his father George Schofield Can anyone help please. Whilst researching I coped a some more records (not all Surnames) that were familiar to me.
