I recently purchased a wonderful old "Cabinet Portrait" studio photograph of Jennie Hopran Schofield, at an antique shop in St. Charles, IL. I enjoy buying lovely old pictures like these in antique shops and locating descendants or family members so that I can re-unite the pictures, for only my costs, with people who will treasure them. The picture was taken by the "Dresser" Studio, in Winfield, Kansas, in approx.1890 (my estimate only). Winfield is in Cowley Co. She looks to be approx.20 yrs.old - give or take a year or two, and is a very beautiful young woman, with medium dark hair. The picture is 4-1/4" x 6-1/2" mounted on heavy cardboard, as was typical of those years. The picture is an original (not a copy), and is in overall excellent condition (however someone along the way bent it, but it does not show at all unless you tip it sideways to catch the light).
