My SCHELL-HERR families are from Duchy of Nassau area, Germany. Gottfried F Schnell b:1816 in Germany, died 1902 in Elberfeld, Warren Co, IN. He immigrated via NY on Jan 4, 1851 with his wife, Catherine Herr & two children, Frederick & August. They were married circa 1840-1845 in Germany. Gottfried was my Paternal gg-grandfather.
