I have just began to research my Chenell relatives. I came across two possibilities for your Uncle Rad. First is William Radley Chenell (born 3/13/1867), son of Paul Chenel (born 1825) and Sarah Harris (born around 1830). He had 12 biological siblings and 3 half-siblings as far as I can tell. The second is another William Radley Chenell (born 9/8/1908), son of Paul Chenell (born 5/9/1876 and who is a brother of the first William) and Phoebe Welsh. The second William Radley Chenell married Irena Welsh. Let me know if this helps. p.s.
