The other family members came from Busum and Hemme in the same area, so there is a strong chance that their is a relationship, although I can't prove it. The family name is Peters, by the way. Last July we drove through S-H so that I could see where my ancestors came from. I was able to meet a third cousin who still lives within 15 miles of where the family lived in the 1700's.
