Have Heinrich Bass born 14 May 1864, Holstein and Dorothea Wulf born 21 Feb 1876, Holstein. Heinrich was a "hide inspector for the German Government. Records say they were married in China in 1904 and left China about 1919 returning to Germany. Would love to find more info on them, seems like an interesting story. Why were they in China? Who were their parents? Believe they eventually settled in Seattle, Washington. Would appreciate any advise as to best place to follow up. Records I have found were in German and my German is limited to "O Tannenbaum", and "ach du lieber", (Grandpa's expression). Any help? Helene
