Hello Listers, I have recently discovered that my ggggf was born in Ratzeburg. It would have been about 1790, since his first son was born in 1817 in Segeberg. Does anybody know where birth, marriage and death records for the town, not the principality, for that period might be stored? Or does anybody know a library, probably in Germany, which has the book: Die Neubürger der Stadt Ratzeburg von 1601 bis 1871, by B. Raute, Lauenburgischer Heimatverlag, Ratzeburg i. Lbg, (1933)?
