I am new to the list and need help.I am looking for information on the following; Claus SCHRODER b Ostend about 1838 married Margaretta SCHULTZ in about 1858 in WORDEN,Holstein. Margaretha SCHULTZ b about 1836,in HOLSTEIN.Father was JOSEPH SCHULTZ. Mother was ANNIE WEIZER(? spelling of this name). Where is WORDEN , HOLSTEIN? I have also found them listed as having come from WOHRDEN also on another website?Are these the same place? I am also having trouble with the surnames/spelling of WEI?ER and RENNAN. Use http://members.cox.net/hessen/towns.htm to locate a town. The spelling is Wöhrden, or you can use Woehrden. It is in the modern state of Schleswig-Holstein, southwest of Heide, right on the coast. Wei?er is probably Weizer. A 2nd possibility is Weiter.
