Hi Clay, Have made this trip 3 times and had bought J.Carlyle Parkers book "Going to Salt Lake City to do Family History Research". It has all info you need and then some. You might be able to check out this book in a Library near you. The next best thing is always the front desk as you come into the building. They will furnish you with the lay-out of the building. All staff is most helpful. In the copy room you can buy a little plastic card and load it with money and use it in the copiers as credit card, it saves time. The card never expieres. I still have mine for when I go back or you may donate the card to a fellow searcher, no names are used. For me it has been a wonderful experience. Don't forget to look around Temple Square. Everything is within walking distance. The Tabernacle choir is worth listening to even if you only catch them at practice. Recording sessions are on Thursday mornings, from what I remember. Good hunting and enjoy the achival feast. Margarete C, AZ
