My husband's ancestor (Andreas Witze) was married 21 March 1762 at St Johannis-FL, along with at least 7 of his soldier companions.....a "combined marriage ceremony". This suggests to me that there may have been an army base/garrison in Flensburg at that time. Are there any records of this? Thnx
