    3. Dear Readers. It is about time that we introduce our work to you. For a long time we were busy transcribing multiple data from census registers or to enter hand written data electronically. Now we have something to show. Have a look at: http://www.AGGSH.de It is here that you find, apart from the census data transcribed by members and co-workers (which are also entered into the Danish data bank), additional sources for your genealogical research. An example is the source index of the Christian-Albrecht University of Kiel. This card index (approx. 25,000 index cards) was created from approx. 1965 to the beginning of the 1990ies. It contains transcripts of historically relevant sources from the era of the 16th. century to the beginning of the 20th/ century which originate primarily from the Provincial Archives in Schleswig, but also from county and municipal archives. They comprise official budgets, real estate registers, court, police and visitation protocols, inventories or succession agreements. The Index is available, alphabetically sorted by names as well as by locations, at http://www.AGGSH.de Our most recent project: The members of the America Society (Amerika Gesellschaft e.V.) in Bad Segeberg have been working for years creating an emigrant archive containing data of people who emigrated from Schleswig-Holstein. Meanwhile, this index has reached approx. 7,000 cards. The Work Group Genealogy Schleswig-Holstein has undertaken, within the framework of the AGGSH Work Group Emigration, to record these cards on the computer. Again, you can find initial results on our web pages at: http://www.AGGSH.de As you can imagine, there is a lot of work to be done. Can you see yourself helping us out? Contact us and you will receive preliminary information at mailto:Info@AGGSH.de Last, but not least, our interactive emigration data bank. Have a look whether there are already some of your relatives in our data bank. On behalf of the AGGSH e.V. Gabriele Bloecker, Schleswig-Holstein Translated by Juergen P. Schultz, Canada
