Regards, Hans Peter Voss ; Listowner Betreff: Frahm Datum: Sat, 8 Nov 2003 09:56:41 -0700 Von: "HeyBlondie" <Hey.Blondie@Verizon.net> An: <Schleswig-Holstein-Roots-L@rootsweb.com> End of the line I am new to this website and somewhat confused as to how to reply and also put a message on board so here goes. My Frahm and Luett ancestors are from Schleswig-Holstein. My grandfather and all his siblings were born there in the 1860s and 1870s. My greatgrandfather is my end of the line Herman Frahm born June 23, 1823 or 1824. He married Cristina Luett born May 8, 1828, daughter of Clas Luett. The family tale is that Herbert Ernst Frahm (Willy Brandt) is a cousin. His grandfather Ludwig Frahm and mother Martha are hard for me to connect. I am hoping that someone knows the Frahm connection so that I can trace my roots beyond Herman Frahm and Clas Luett. Thank you Gail in California

    3. Gail, I have heard that Billy Brandt story in this family also. Claus and Margaretha Luise (ANDRESEN) FRHAM were on the 1840, 1845 Friedrichsholm census then came to Wisconsin in 1848. 1823 or 24 is about the same time the first daughter Sara was born in Friedrichsholm. Other siblings are Margaretha born ca 1828-29, Claus born 18 Mar 1834 and Jacob C born 22 Jan 1839. Wonder if there could have been other FRAHMS in Friedrichsholm? Might be worth checking that census. My census information was given to me so can't advise how to do that. 3. Janice: Thank you for your help. I will keep trying. My Frahms are a very large family. Most of them came over together including older family members. Ggf Herman and his wife Christena Magdalena Luett Frahm died in Denison, Iowa. The Frahms were farmers. My mother is the youngest of 13 Frahm children. My grandfather would have been 146 years old and I am only 54. Are you in the states? Thanks again, Gail ----- Original Message ----- From: "Janice Frahm" <jfrahm@colby.ixks.com> To: <SCHLESWIG-HOLSTEIN-ROOTS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, November 08, 2003 4:47 PM Subject: Re: [S-H-RTS] Frahm > Gail, > > I have heard that Billy Brandt story in this family also.
