Dear Dot: I don't know if this is of any help but just south of the town of Giekau is an estate called Neuhaus. It is owned by the Hahn family and is very large. In census records people are listed as being from Neuhaus as if it were a town. This Estate is just west of Lutjenburg about seven miles and on the edge of the Selenter See.
