Here is the information on my g-grandfather who I would like information on, especially town of origin, if that is available on the film: WILHELM STREESE, Germans to America 1875-1888 Male, Farmer, Unknown last residence, Dest USA, from Bremen, Manifest ID#: 36178, Ship Oder, arrived Aug 13, 1881 Apparently, he had been here before, as he shows a naturalization from the 1871-2 on a census page but I haven't seen any other listings for him in any of the online references or books. in the book, he is accompanied by an Edward STREESE, age 17, an Anthony/Jacob BERNARD, Christopher/Matilde HERRMANN, Emilie MUELLER,and Jacob SCHMIDT. Of course, I do not expect you to check on all these names as well, but they are very much persons of interest if they happen to be on the same location(especially Bernard and Mueller) in the film. Did I remember everything??
