To all my contacts, I have just been advised that a virus has been passed on to me. I have found that virus and deleted it. You must do the same and pass the message onto everybody in your address book. The virus (jdbgmgr.exe) is not detected by Norton or McAfee. We are told that the virus sits quietly in the computer for 14 days before doing its damage. It is sent automatically by the address book, whether or not you have sent an Email to the recipient. Here is how to check if you have the virus and how to get rid of it. YOU MUST DO THIS, 1.. Go to "start". Choose the "Find" option 2.. In the file folder option type in the name jdbgmgr.exe 3.. Click on "find now" or "search" 4.. The virus has a teddy bear icon next to the name jdbgmgr.exe. DO NOT OPEN IT!!! 5.. Go to "Edit" on the menu bar and choose "select all". This will highlight the offending file without opening it. 6.. Now go to "File" on the menu bar and select "delete". It will then go to the Recycle bin. 7.. IF YOU FIND THE VIRUS YOU MUST CONTACT ALL THE PEOPLE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK SO THAT THEY CAN DELETE IT FROM THIER ADDRESS BOOKS 8.. To do this 9.. Open a new Email message 10.. Click the icon of the Address book next to the "To" 11.. Highlight every name and put in "BCC" which means blind copy 12.. Copy this message and paste it in the Email 13.. Then send it

The virus that you referred to is a HOAX, its not anything that would infect your computer. The file(jdbgmgr.exe) is an essential file in your operating system. DO NOT REMOVE IT. Instructions can be obtained at various anti-virus sites if you have damaged your operating system.
