I truly wish that I could give some relevant information to LT Freese about his Martin ancestors n Sidsdorf, but unfortunately my S-H ancestors were Schönings. None the less, I would like to say that I and, I would venture to say, many of the other members of this list, are indebted to him, and all those like him, who make the sacrifice that makes it possible for the rest of us to have the freedom to pursue interests like genealogy -- or whatever our interests are.
