Here is the information and surnames I am researching. My great grandmother was Weibke JOHANNSEN B- October 22, 1875 - Meggerdorf, S-H Baptized - December 15, 1875 in Lutheran Church in Bergenhusen M- March 27, 1835 - Boone, Iowa to Nicko Adolph Julius ADAM (who was from Fehmarn Island Germany) D- March 15, 1936 and is buried in Glenwood, Cemetary, Ogden, Iowa She arrived in Ellis Island on March 20, 1894 at age of 19, single, on board ship Rhaetia from Hamburg Germany and apparently without any other family members. Her parents were: Johann JOHANNSEN B-Jan 31, 1835 - Meggerdorf, S-H Baptized Feb 1, 1835 at home (he was illegitimate and his father was the husband of his mother's sister) M-November 21, 1871 -Meggerdorf, S-H to Christina Marie KOLL (who was from Nueboem, S-H) D- October 1, 1895 - Meggerdorf, S-H Buried on October 5, 1895 in Bergenhusen, S-H Christina Marie KOLL B-April 21, 1849 - Nueboem, S-H Baptized - May 6, 1849 in Lutheran Church in Hollingsteadt, S-H D- April 11, 1922 - Meggerdorf, S-H Buried on April 15, 1922 in old cemetary, east side They had the following children: 1) Catharina 2) Wiebke 3) Doris 4) Hans 5) Christina 6) Johann 7) Anna 8) Emma Johann's parents were: Johann JOHANNSEN (all that I know about him was that he was Catharina FRAHM's brother in law (married to her sister Wiebke FRAHM) at the time of the birth and at the time of the birth was residing in Rendsburg. He also had at least one younger brother and one older sister.) Catharina FRAHM (all that I know about her is that her parents were Hans Hinrich FRAHM who was a farmer from Meggerdorf and Catharina MAHRT) Christina's parents were: Hans Hinrich KOLL a resident of Neuboem, S-H and Dorothea RASMUS Any information anyone has that might tie into this is greatly appreciated. Also be interested in anyone with different surnames also in the Meggerdorf area since it's my understanding this is a very small village...some names found as witnesses on baptisms of these family are: Hinrich PLOEHN, Landmann in Meggerdorf; Mrs. Wiebke KOLL in Meggerkoog; Spinster Anna KOLL in Meggerkoog; Thies Johannsen FRAHM from Meggerdorf; Spinster Hans Hinrich FRAHM from Meggerdorf; Spinster Catharina BRENDENBECK from Meggerdorf; Christina HAALBECK in Neuboerm; Peter KOLL; Maria COHRT in Hollingstedt.
