Hi all, The following is a major brick wall for my family: Johann Hinrich Nikolaus MARTENS b: in 01 Jun 1846, Lieth bei Heide. Parents; Jurgen Hinrich MARTENS in Wesseln and Heinke Margaretha SCHODT/SCHOODT All children born in Australia. Johann left Schleswig Holstein via Hamburg with what is possibly his brother/cousin, Frans MARTENS in @1865 I have Johanns extract birth certificate which has the above parents on it but can not find much info on them. it also contains other people on it which reads as follows; Geoattern; Johann Peter SCHODT Nikolaus WITT Margaretha MARTENS Any information about this family or person would be greatly appreciated.
