I still have not made any connection from any of the sponsors to any of my relatives. I do believe, however, that I have identified a small number of the Baptism Sponsors. Note that Reimer Nicolas Mohr, of Wall, was the Baptism Sponsor of Reimer Jakob Nikolaus Haack. The only other HAACK Baptism Sponsor I can find for someone named MOHR, who is from Wall, is Wiebke Mohr, who sponsored the Baptism of Wilhelm "Bill" Haack. I believe this pair of MOHRs from Wall is a married couple. I believe that they are Reimer Nicolaus Mohr and Wiebke Justine Dorothea (Hansen) Mohr, who the IGI records show marrying "07 AUG 1856 Walle, Wohrden, Schleswig-Holstein, Preussen". Notice that Wiebke is a HANSEN, and that there are other HANSENs as HAACK Baptism Sponsors. Johann Jacob Hanssen, of Wall, was another of the Baptism sponsors of Reimer Jakob Nikolaus Haack, and Margaretha Hanssen, of Wall, was the Baptism sponsor of Heinrich "Henry" Haack. I believe this is also a married couple. The IGI records show a marriage between Johann Jacob Andreas Hansen and Margaretha Gravert "About 1832 Of Woehrdener Hafen, Meldorf, Schleswig-Holstein, Preussen". This is most likely the same persons referred to in the following (IGI) marriage record, "Margaretha Grawert married 03 APR 1829 Woehrden, Pinneberg, Schleswig-Holstein, Preussen, Johann Jacob Andreas Hansen". While I take the record at face value, "Pinneberg" must be in error. It was their daughter Wiebke Justine Dorothea Hansen who married Reimer Nicolaus Mohr, and sponsored the Baptism of Wilhelm "Bill" Haack as "Wibke Mohr, of Wall". This would tend to make one think that the familial connection is through the HANSENs, and not the MOHRs. It would appear that the only Mohr sponsors were those related to HANSENs by marriage, or who were born HANSEN. So it is logical to conclude that the relationship of George Jacob Haack, or his wife, to Johan Jacob Andreas Hansen, or his wife, is siblings. Of these possibilities, most can be excluded. The family of Wiebke Dorothea Harder does not fit, because one line will be HARDER and the other HARTWIG. This leaves the family of George Jacob Haack himself. His paternal line will clearly be HAACK, leaving only his mother's line. Thus it is simplest to explain the Baptism sponsorships on the whole as the product of a close relationship between John Jacob Andreas Hansen (or his wife) and the mother of George Jacob Haack.
