Hi listers, After several months of research we have finally received copies of the Hamburg Passenger List which shows the immigration of my husband's great grandmother, Ida Marie Heidemann Langrehr. She came in 1871 along with three children. The ship's list says she resided in Elmshorn. Have others had experience with ordering church records of this area. Is it likely that this was her birth parish or simply where she lived before immigration? Her husband came in 1870 and we are still searching for him in the HPL.
