Hi All Have hit my brick wall sooner than most I see. Grandfather: Born: 23/9/1894 Willie Albert Carl JACOBI in Schleswig Died: 15/7/1970 in Buschau. Married: 14/12/1919 in Tolk. Grandmother: Born: 23/6/1899 Marie Christine Dorothea SCHMDT in Buschau. Died: 11/2/1960 in Schleswig. Married as above. Could any one help as to how I could go further back from here.? I would like to get the marriage and birth Certificates of both my grand parents but I don't know how it is done in Germany. I don't read or speak German although I am trying to learn!
