Hello to Keith Freese, I have a book on "Schwabstedt--5000 Jahre Schwabstedter Geschichte", by Hans Meyer. Dr. Meyer was a practicing physician in Schwabstedt for 35 years, and his book is well crafted. A bookstore in Husum had no reference on it, but I was able to get a copy in a little store in Schwabstedt. It is printed in German. My ancestors in Schwabstedt were the Jacobs family. My g-grandfather, Juergen Naeve married Anna Jacobs, and they came with grandfather, Marx Naeve, to Iowa in 1868.
