    3. I am having a terrible time finding my father-in-law's ancestors supposedly from Schleswig-Holstein. My father-in-law was Franz Brauns, born in Schonberg-on-Strand in January of 1898. His father was Peter August Andreas Brauns, born July 27, 1875, supposedly Schleswig-Holstein. Peter's father was Julius Ernst Andreas Brauns, unknown birthdate, but he married a Louise Schneekloth on November 7, 1874 in Schleswig Holstein. Louise Schneekloth was from Schleswig-Holstein also. How do I go about finding where Peter and Julius were from and who Julius's parents were? Thanks for any help.
