I was able to obtain birth,marriage and death copies from Kiel, Flensburg and Elmshorn by writing to the churches and sending as much information as I had on my great-grandparents, they all send me the copies( for a price) and often send me information of some of the relatives, also the archives on those cities have been very helpful.
