I´m a norwegian lady and new to this list, and I hope anyone will be so kind to help me find information about my great-grandmother, Auguste Amalie Ludwig (Ludrvig), born April 17, 1849. Possibel place of birth is Naurnburg (Nürnberg?) - Bavaria. She married Nils Fredrik Just b. 1859, Christiansand, Norway. They got two sons: Sigurd Harald Just b. 1891 and Sverre Brynjulf Just b. 1892 - both born when the family was in Lübeck. I believe the parents got married in Germany, possibly in Lübeck, as well. N.F. Just was a trader and was doing business in Germany. They went to Oslo, Norway, some time before 1900. Auguste Amalie Just, born Ludwig, died in Oslo 1937. I´m the granddaugther of Sverre Brynjulf Just. I have his baptismal certificate that says that he was christened in the evang.-lutherischen St. Marien Kirche in Lübeck on October 12, 1893. The wintesess was: Johan Franz Just, Clara Hempel, Juline Just and Axel Fhörnlöf. Does enyone know who Clara Hempel and Axel Fhörnlöf are as well?
