Hi all listers, I have just received a registration of my grandparents marriage certificate, which gives me the names of both grandparents - date of marriage - dates of births and their religion. These I already knew before the certificate was sent for, as I have contacted relatives in Germany but they just know the dates and names that I sent for. I was expecting to find the names of the fathers and the occupations.? Would anyone be able to please tell me if this is a shortened version or if this is standard. Also I have applied for the births and deaths of my grandparents, please would anyone be able to let me know if more information is available on these other certificates? If the names of the fathers/parents of grandparents do not appear on any of the documents, would anyone on list be able to advise me on how to proceed with finding my ancestors? Thanks in advance for any information. Regards Gisela Perth Western Australia
