Julie Thanks for you reply. Simon Michael Hayman was born in Holstein about 1812 or 1813 according to the 1881 UK Census. His children were Henrietta Olivia (b.1839), Maria Louise (b. 1840), Samuel Arthur (b. 1842), William Frederick (b. 1843), Ellen 9(b.1845), Henry Joseph (b.1847), Emily (b.1849), Mary Zillah (b. 1851) and Walter Seaman (b. 1854). The first two children were on the 1851 UK Census at a Jewish boarding school in London. Simon Michael himself married in Bristol UK in 1837. Alan
