I can't quite make out the "place of birth". Looks like "Hoben ber Rendsburg, Germany"... or perhaps "Huber der Rendsburg. I've attached the document so some of you can take a look. Isn't Rendsburg in Schlewig Holstein? I'm hoping I can locate more information on his family. Supposedly his parents were John and Catharine (or maybe a Johann and Catharina) Frahm. He was born Dec. 31, 1873. Married a Louise Ortlepp in New York city, and died in 1910 (after getting kicked in the head by a horse). Thank you for your insight into his place of birth.
