All the researchers I've used (including Klaus Struve, who I can also recommend) have been very good about sticking to their original estimates. Most major U.S. banks can wire money to foreign banks. You need your researcher's SWIFT number (a bank routing number) and some banks can wire funds in foreign currency, such as Euros. There's a fee for the wire of about $30 usually, which you'll pay on your end.
