Hello Listers, Newbie here with no knowledge of Continental research at all........HELP! I am wanting to find the birth, parentage and hopefully siblings of Friedrich Heinrich Julius Lorenz LIEBERG. According to British Census records he was born in Flensburg around 1860ish. He died in England in 1901 aged 39 and was a photographer by trade. Could anyone point me in the right direction please? Hi Tricia, I'm not sure if I can help you but I'm in a similar position as my great great grandfather was a photographer and was born in Flensburg in 1862. He came to Australia in about 1883 but he may have gone to England or Italy first. Did Flensburg produce photographers? Hi Geoffrey, I'm like a fish out of water as I usually do Gloucestershire Genealogy. I've no idea if Flensburg 'bred' photographers by the dozen!!! I bet they did just to confuse us. If you Google in 'photoLondon' and see the 19th century photographers database you may find your gggrandfather there.
