You are correct. I am Thomas Reeves from Lincoln Nebraska. I found this thread and wanted to post a comment just in case someone had additional information. I haven't had much luck going past Christian. Christian did take his family back to Europe in 1900 for a few months. They went on the ship "Deutschland", which was an all first class ship and the fastest boat of the time. He also had several Maxwell cars, which were noted as the sports car of it's time. Not a typical vehicle, but the Stuehmer's had money and Christian liked being up to date with the latest technology and gadgets of the time.
