The Vollbehr grave marker photos for Dethlef Friedrich VOLLBEHER (1802-1884) and Elisabeth Catharine Margaretha "Eliese" (PEETZ) VOLLBEHR (1797-1886) are in deed the parents of Magdalena Margareta Lucia "Lena" VOLLBEHR (1838-?). Lena is the 6th of seven children all of whom immigrated with their parents in May of 1854 from Fleckeby, Schleswig to Clinton County, Iowa and finally settling in Elk River Township. Another daughter, Catharine Lucia Elisabeth "Eliese" VOLLBEHR (1831-1921), married Johann "John" Roeh (frequently indexed as Rock) 27 Oct 1854 from whom my wife is descended. They had 11 children. John ROEH's mother was Catharina Margaretha NAEVE (1804-1849). Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
