The oldest ancestors who came were born about 1809-1828. My line came over about 1892 and settled in Merrick/Hall Counties, Nebraska. I have heard of other lines who settled in Davenport, Iowa and then there is a Wiese line in Neb. or Kansas who traced his Wiese surname to the bunch in Hall Co. Neb. Thrien Schnecklot married Henry Muhs likely before 1/17/1862, when their son, Hans Peter Muhs was born on that date. He was born in Hohndorf, Holstein, Germany.
