    3. I have recently received from Klaus Struve (whose website is http://www.rootdigger.de/) the details of the baptism of my great great grandfather Johann Hinrich Hansen whose parents were Jess Peter Hansen a Tagelöhner and Anna Caroline Asmussesn. His grandfather was Johann Hansen of Eggebek. I looked at the Danish Census website (www.ddd.dda.dk) and found the following listing in Eggebek from the 1845 census. Bolitta Jepsen 77 Witwe wird von der Commune unterstützt Jörl Hans Hansen 43 Verheir. ihr Sohn, Tagelöhner Eggebeck Anna Maria Thomsen 45 Verheir. dessen Frau Bau Jes Peter Hansen 9 Unverheir. ihr Sohn Eggebeck I've been told that Hans was short for Johann so I wondering if the above listing would refer to Jes Peter Hansen and his father Johann Hansen or have I got the wrong census listing? I just haven't yet been able to find any census listings that would be more likely. thanks in advance.
