G'day everyone, Does anyone know of a casualty list for Hamburg civilians from World War II? I have traced a cousin by using the LDS microfilms of the Hamburg city directories down to 1940, but he is not listed in 1947. August Kunde was a Gewerbe-Oberlehrer born in 1889 which would suggest that he was too old to be called up for Active Service during the War (at least not until the very end when he may have served in the Volkssturm (Home Guard). This makes me think that he may have died in the interim, maybe as a result of air raids, hence my interest in the possibility of civilian casualty list for WWII.
