Hi I am trying to trace birth and adoption records for my grandmother.? I am having trouble finding any information and would be gratfeul of any help or advice.? The only information that I have is my grandmothers date of birth (16 Aug 1920), her given names at a bapitsm in 1923 at a Lutheran church in Kiel and she stated that she was born in Kiel.? On the baptism are the names of her adopted parents (which I have information on) but no last name for her.? It is her birth family/nationality that I would like to trace as she never told anyone about them after having been adopted at?2plus ?years old-although she said that she was adopted at 3 years old.
